The American singer Perla Batalla, accompanied by her three excellent musicians (Lluis Cartes, Piano, Marc Prat, bass, Manu Corbalán Carillo, guitar), presents songs by Leonard Cohen in a stubborn interpretation. The exceptional actor Hanns Zischler reads poetry , Psalms and Prose by Cohen. Prof. Dr. Christof Graf, Cohen's German biographer, tells about his encounter and friendship with the Canadian-Jewish poet and songwriter. The Offenbach appearance of Perla Batalla, who was on tour around the world with Leonard Cohen as a singer in 1988 and 1993, is the first in Germany after 25 years and the only one in Germany this year.
